Mars-Supial Pouch

In bigger cases I attached this cautery pouch to my gortex gown to be my own tool holder. This is so I can put my Bonnies (https://catalog1.bd.com/vmueller/bonney-tissue-forceps.html ) and Debakey forceps (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debakey_forceps) there so I am not reaching back to the nurse a lot. I don't like to "palm" my instruments a lot as I can injury my assistants inadvertently as my hands move around the surgical exposure. I learned about the pouch from my mentor Dr. Carol Hutchison when I was doing a Fellowship at the University of Calgary in 2006 - 2008.
